Documentation Booklet

Over the course of a semester, I painted a series of five paintings, each of planets both in and outside of our solar system. Based on the research that I did on each planet, I painted what I believed the surface of the planet would look like, whether it was rocky, molten magma, ice and so on. As I was working on the paintings, I devised a message, either comical or inspirational, to go with each planet. When the landscapes were completed, I laid out the type and painted it on top of the landscapes. For the semester, I documented my work, from research, to process, to what I would do differently if I were to do the project again. Then along with some pictures taken during different steps, compiled it all together into a booklet.
